About This Event

Presented by More Than Music, Electroman is a celebration of underground electronic culture, bringing together forward-thinking artists and curious audiences for a night of discovery, connection, and sound. Blending atmospheric electronica, deep grooves, bass-heavy rhythms, and dancefloor energy, the event highlights the diversity and creativity that make electronic music such a powerful global community.

For its return, Electroman features a carefully curated lineup of artists from Japan and abroad, each bringing a distinct perspective to contemporary electronic music. Among them is Wang One, a project that has been attracting growing attention within the music industry for its unique fusion of electronic production, live vocals, and cello, creating a performance that is both cinematic and deeply human.

The lineup also welcomes back Demsky, an artist who has been at the heart of Electroman since its inception and whose sound has helped shape the identity of the series over the years.

Rounding out the bill is Nibi, whose integration of electronic elements into a full-band setup reflects the spirit of exploration that defines both Electroman and More Than Music's roots in live band culture.

Whether you're a longtime electronic music enthusiast or simply looking to discover something new, join us for a night that celebrates the many forms electronic music can take.

Artist information

◾️ Wang One ◾️

Lola One and Case Wang from China met in Tokyo and formed the indie-electronic unit
"Wang One".
The band's name is a combination of their family names, "Wang" and "One."
Combining the free-spirited artistic sensibility of vocalist Lola with the sound producer,
track maker,
and DJ Case, they are sending a new era of dance music from Asia to the world.
With the release of three original songs that are an exquisite mix of retro and modern,
and live performances with big acts,
they are gaining recognition and attention from people in the industry and music
enthusiasts alike.

◾️ Demsky ◾️

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, and currently based in Tokyo, Demsky is a rising beatmaker who has swiftly carved out a niche in the global music scene. His ambient and downtempo soundscapes have garnered acclaim, resonating with audiences across Asia and Europe. From captivating performances at festivals such as Wonderfruit (Thailand), Echoes of Earth (India), and Intergalactic Festival (Japan), to collaborations with influencers like Ramen Adventures, Demsky's musical journey reflects his cross-cultural influence. Rooted in a passion for cultural exploration and musical fusion, Demsky is recognized as an influential figure in the global music community, with a growing ability to connect with enthusiasts worldwide. His artistic pursuits extend beyond the stage: he is the co-founder of Sentosensations, a day festival held at one of Tokyo’s oldest bathhouses, spotlighting Japan’s rich art scene and showcasing eclectic international artists.

◾️ Nibi ◾️

Nibi is an electronic music unit formed by vocalist Norie Takahashi and composer Tomoya Omura.

The two artists, who had been building their careers as a singer-songwriter and a film composer respectively, began collaborating during the pandemic and officially formed the project in 2020.

Rooted in club music, Nibi creates electronic soundscapes built through a genre-crossing, experimental approach. Their music blends meticulously constructed production with Takahashi’s vocals—both transparent and powerful—and introspective lyrics, exploring emotional fluctuations and the depths of the inner self while shaping a distinct sonic world.

After passing the live audition “RINGOOO A GO-GO,” they performed at Ringo Music Festival 2025 in September.

Their immersive live performances—where introspective lyrics meet sounds that sink deep into the body—have been gaining recognition not only within the music scene but also in art spaces such as galleries in Tokyo.

◾️ Luke Hobbs (DJ) ◾️

You’re compelled to continue swinging your body to the tempo as DJ Luke Hobbs emerges from the smoky backdrop gifting the masses with one final set. If you were to visually capture this organic sound on canvas, you’d stand for a moment upon the piece and claim it as avant-garde. Hobbs has an immaculate way of capturing music at its very core, and the result is almost an animalistic blend of big disco, rock, and accidental tribal.  The urge to dance is transfixing, and you surrender yourself.
