About This Event
Decor inspired by Cuba, music, and vibrant cuisine come together for a special experience at the beautifully refined venue, HAVANA 1950.
For this edition, we welcome Tokyo-based Forró community “Forró de Zé” to bring the spirit of Brazil’s traditional celebration, Festa Junina into the night.
Festa Junina is a beloved Brazilian festival celebrated throughout June, known for its colourful decorations, music, dancing, and joyful sense of community. As part of the evening, there will be time for everyone to enjoy Forró, a traditional partner dance originating from northeastern Brazil. Whether you are a complete beginner or experienced dancer, the night is designed to be warm, open, and welcoming, inviting everyone to naturally move together through music and connection.
Live music will be led by naantoka, a Tokyo-based new jazz and funk band influenced by retro Bollywood sounds. Their improvisational style and groove-driven performance blend beautifully with the festive energy of Festa Junina, creating a unique atmosphere for this one special night.

About the Venue

◾️ HAVANA 1950 ◾️
A bar lounge that combines music, food, culture, and art from around the world. This bar was based after Havana, Cuba from the 1950's. That area was a hotspot for significant people within the community such as the wealthy and mafia bosses. Located just 30 seconds away from Hiroo station, this old timey, traditionally structured restaurant is the perfect spot to jump back into the 1950's as their beautiful red and gold theme forms a truly sophisticated ambience.
