Explosive Latin rhythms.
The razor-sharp edge of funk.
And a global sound that fuses cultures into one unstoppable groove.
A man of many talents - Moises Zamora plays several instruments among his diverse performances including the flute, saxophone, piano, guitar, aerophone, and percussions. He also incorporates several genres into his compositions like latin jazz and funk. The fusion of these genres create a romantic and nostalgic blend.
Since starting his career at age 14, he has sang internationally in Cuba. He has also served as lead vocalist in multiple bands, while continuing to compose original music. In 2021, he released his first instrumental single, “Danzón for Yeni”, marking another milestone in his creative output.
In 2022, he appeared at SUMMER SONIC Tokyo with the band KILOMBO, returning to the festival again in 2023 and 2024. In 2025, he performed at SUMMER SONIC with Tokyo Funk Machine. In 2025, he also performed in all six shows at Blue Note Tokyo alongside the grammy-nominated Cuban artist, Cimafunk.
