About This Event
Saturdays are for winding down after a hectic week and even more hectic weekend. MTM’s dinner events, we do just that surrounded by amazing people, fantastic food with an atmosphere of a family dinner.

Artist Information
◾️ Yoel Paz Morales ◾️
Born in 1975 in Florida, Camagüey, Cuba, Yoel Paz Morales is a master of Latin music, effortlessly performing across a wide range of styles—from Colombian and Mexican to Brazilian and beyond.
His passion for music ignited at a young age, singing in local theaters with a makeshift guitar crafted by his father from aluminum spoons. He later studied vocal technique under Margarita Ulloa, a leading soprano of the Coro Nacional de Cuba (Cuban National Choir). At just 17, he moved to Havana, where he quickly gained recognition, becoming a two-time finalist in the prestigious Buscando el Sonero competition in 1995 and 1996.
Yoel honed his craft performing in various ensembles, from trios to quartets, before joining Grupo Maguey as a lead vocalist. From 1998 to 2001, he toured Greece, Spain, and Costa Rica, appearing in major concerts and television programs. In 2002, he became a vocalist and percussionist for Madera Buena, performing regularly at Havana’s famous La Mina restaurant. His talent led to collaborations with top Cuban artists, including Ivette Cepeda and Grupo Reflexión, as well as performances at exclusive concerts and artistic gatherings.
In 2012, he recorded three new pop tracks under Madera Buena's leader, Ariel Fernández Cintra, further expanding his musical repertoire. Since early 2013, Yoel has been based in Japan, continuing to share his deep-rooted Cuban soul and vibrant Latin rhythms with audiences across the country.
