About This Event

Experience the magic of the first-ever music festival at Niji no Sato, 
a theme park in Shizuoka's scenic Shuzenji area.

There are three areas available at the festival; SKY Stage perched in the open area, the FOREST Stage hidden within the woods and an open clearing for arts and activities. 
This festival brings together over 30 artists for live performances, DJ sets, and more!!

There will be food trucks and drink stands for you to enjoy as you immerse yourself in the music on stage.

People at this festival will have exclusive access to the Niji no Sato theme park, offering a unique opportunity to explore and relax between performances. You can wander the park that has little Canada, little England, and a little traditional Japanese village. Please note that the access to the them park does not included the mini train and the mini bus which can be purchased for a small fee at the theme park.

SLOPE UP SESSION CLUB is a group formed by Kim from UHNELLYS, tatsu (LÄ-PPISCH), ruppa (KAGERO), Junya Yamamoto (SPEED OF LIGHTS), Elio (Senkawos), and 10 other members. They irregularly hold events where music, dance, theater, live painting, and other improvisations continue for three hours non-stop, and despite the extreme nature of the events, the venue is always full.

In the early stages of their formation, they went by the name "INDUSTBOX" and their sound was characterized by sentimental and emotional guitar rock. However, influenced by the Japanese Jam scene and various other factors, they underwent a transformation and eventually rebranded themselves as "Indus&Rocks" around 2005. As a team of cosmic mystery-solving explorers, they travel far and wide, drawing inspiration from their experiences to create catchy and trippy music. With their unique blend of experimentation, challenge, and exploration, this trio continues to push boundaries and create captivating music.

Formed in 1999, this dynamic seven-piece instrumental funk band has been making waves across the Kansai region with their energetic performances. Featuring a distinctive front line of alto sax, tenor sax, and trombone, their sound is uniquely captivating. Free from the constraints of lyrics, their music offers an expansive, boundary-free world that is both liberating and immersive.

Balancing the strengths of their flexibility with the challenges of instrumental expression, the band has steadily grown through their own live events, notably their self-hosted "K no Rutsubo." They believe the pinnacle of artistic expression lies in live performance, and they rigorously maintain their identity as a live band, crafting the unique "K-106" experience that defies easy categorization.

In December 2019, to mark their 20th anniversary, they released two CD albums and hosted a special celebration event, "Dai Rutsubo," at Misono Universe. Their journey reflects a relentless commitment to growth and live artistry, continually evolving while staying true to their roots.

Kenji Azuma crossbreeds many instruments to create flowing melodies and harmonies, expressing his vast range of sceneries. The instrument Sami Elu plays is the only one in the world he created himself, the Pixie chord. Shaped like a keyboard, it sounds similar to a harp with a magical echo. How would you like to experience this duo’s other-worldly interpretation of the world?

Kenta focuses on the vibration of music. The vibrations he creates resonate with the natural frequency of the water in our bodies, 444Hz.

Kenta's live show is full of epic tension and release, big layered build ups and sparse breakdowns with trance-like grooves. 

KENTA HAYASHI has been on a world tour throughout 2022, with over 200 shows and festivals  through out the year. He visited 33 countries in Europe, the U.K, Australia, Asia, American, Canada, central America.

Kenta also produces electronic music as he travels the world, he records various sounds such as different languages, nature sounds and noises, samples those and uses those samples to combine the powerful energy of his live performance with the endless sonic possibilities of electronic production.

"Mo no Tsuki" is a four-member band featuring George (Vo.Gu), a German-Japanese vocalist and guitarist, Moon Yasui (Ba) from Hokkaido, and the dynamic duo Ren (Gu) and Canon (Dr) from the act 'Renon'. Despite their age range spanning from 65 to 25, their mutual respect for each other creates a miraculous fusion. Their psychedelic sound, inspired by the moonlight, is perfect for those nights when you just want to drift away.

naantoka is a nu-jazz and funk band with retro Bollywood influences, based in Tokyo. Their performances are largely improvised, which means that no two gigs are ever the same.

NONMALT, a solo project launched as his own musical expression at a milestone in drummer Tetsuya Ueda's life as a gospel and touring musician in Japan and the United States, has been working with various musicians in the midst of his energetic activities since 2017 .... And Corona Pandemic!!! Everything stopped.

In the dark year 2021, Tetsuya suddenly received a message from Cameroon, West Africa. The sender, Hervé Nguebo. In response to the strong offer of collaboration, he decided to focus on production as Tetsuya Ueda & THE NONMALT x Hervé Nguebo, as Herve was also looking for a new movement. After a year and a half of exchanges and a changing world, the mini-album "Color's" was completed with complete teleworking. Then, in April 2023, they completed a full DIY tour of Japan and released a 12" vinyl. A second Japan tour will be ranch for summer 2024! Let's embark on a journey of universal, beautiful, genre-less fusion music between two unknown cultures and lifestyles.

Northern Pelé is an international indie band with soul, rock, roots, and 50s influences. The band has played shows across Japan, including festivals such as Asagiri Jam, Happy Farm festival in Nagano, Surf Jam in Chiba, and iconic venues such as Tokyo station and Tokyo Tower. The band has had its music played on TV and movies in the USA, national radio in Canada and the UK, and has won numerous awards such as “Top 30 Songs of the Year” (BBC Radio Sheffield) and “Top 100 Unsigned Live Bands” (Music Connection Magazine, LA). Post-COVID we are back with a new name, some new members, and a slightly different sound, but still aiming to create a lively and fun live experience.

Formed ten years ago, Paranoid Void is a 3-piece instrumental rock band from Osaka, Japan. Gaining tracking and fame on Reddit, they have now played Fuji Rock, toured America, and have had multiple tours through Europe largely focused in UK and France.

Their style conveys a unique sound, even among the niche style of math rock and prog rock, combining music elements only a 3-piece carrying influences of slash metal, jazz, and Radiohead might that highlights technical brilliance constructed within a dreamy atmosphere.

Robert is an English artist, musician and songwriter currently based in Japan. His music fuses intricate, classically influenced guitar playing with modern alternative songwriting. He draws inspiration from a diverse range of genres and weaves together original and deeply personal songs.

TOW rings traditional to the ear, the duo evokes the mystic past of Japan but uses accordion and acoustic guitar to do so. Contradictory you say? Well, nevertheless you will never feel as in touch with Japan's history as when a single tear rolls down your cheek because Nue-san hit you right in the feels with her esoteric voice.

Nue and Kai bring downright beautiful music and they leave audiences in awe wherever they go, so come and be awe-struck!

Formed in 2007 by songwriter Masafumi Saito from Yuzawa City, Akita Prefecture.
Based on the fusion of folk songs and traditional rhythms from the Tohoku region and other parts of Japan with pan-black music, we
present original updates to cover songs such as "Akita Ondo," "Soma Bon Uta," and "Ringo Oiwake." do.

In 2010, he appeared in “FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ROOKIE A ​​GO-GO”, and
since then he has participated in music festivals all over the country, such as “SUKIYAKI MEETS THE WORLD” and “Under the Bridge World Music Festival”.
When the 2nd album "Takakaraze" was released in 2013, it attracted attention from many media such as newspapers, magazines, and radio.
On September 7, 2016, the 3rd album "Hanatsuoto" will be released.
Expectations are high for the new album, which has undergone further refinement and evolution.

Music has been an ever-present part of Chris MS. Born in Paris and influenced by Vietnamese heritage, he would spend countless hours in his father’s Hi-Fi listening room, avidly shuffling through any CD he could get his hands on, and developing his love for music of all kinds - a trait that would later resurface in his approach to DJing. Picking up the guitar at a young age, his focus was initially set on blues and rock, yet he eventually developed an interest in electronic music and naturally picked up DJing in 2015. After a short spell in Shanghai, Chris settled in Tokyo in 2017, where he has been honing his skills and taking part in various DJ collective activities, including organizing recurrent outdoor event BONNE NUIT, curating a series of podcasts showcasing the local scene for Fauve Radio and more recently holding a monthly residency called Voyage, Voyage! dedicated to connecting the underground Japanese scene with artists from Asia & further away at Shibuya’s iconic DJ BAR OATH.He has supported renowned artists including Chaos in the CBD, Kittin, Soichi Terada or GONNO, and has performed in every best venues in Tokyo (such as Contact, Vent, Womb & Circus) as well as in Asia with appearances at Headstream for Potato Head in Bali, Casa Corona in Seoul, Barbosa in Siargao or Social Room in Hong Kong.Behind the decks, Chris effortlessly weaves in and out of eras, stitching together unearthed rarities, old foreign scene pop delicacies & more modern productions to create genre-defying sets which are sure to surprise his audience and keep the night exciting.

Lycoriscoris, aka Yunosuke Senoo, is a Japanese artist who’s had a decade long tenure in the electronic music world. In recent years, Senoo has built a cult following as part of a new wave of Japanese producers. His signature blend of organic melodies with intricate sound design have won him support from the likes of DJ Koze, Michael Mayer, &ME and BBC Radio 1’s Phil Taggart. A multi-instrumentalist, Senoo has played at venues such as the legendary Dommune in Tokyo, And He has played live alongside the likes of The Field and Moritz Von Oswald.

His first album was released on an indie label in Japan, and he has since released on Anjunadeep, KOMPAKT KX. In 2018, he released his debut Anjunadeep album ‘Flight’, posititing in the top 5 Electronic albums on iTunes and gained support on tastemaker stations including BBC Radio 1, KEXP and NTS Radio as well as international press support. 2021 saw Senoo release his acclaimed album ‘Chiyu’. SOMBRA is the pseudonym of the split Montreal & Tokyo based producer/songwriter, Matthew Cataldo. With influences ranging from 90s alternative grunge and industrial to underground house, techno and trip-hop, SOMBRA’s music is introspective and claustrophobic, yet paradoxically colourful and chameleonic.

Self-described as “music to turn off the lights to”, this quasi-ritualistic, and at-times obsessive-compulsive artistic process gives forth to dark, haunting, yet eerily familiar soundscapes. Like a window into the human condition, Cataldo explores themes of desire, animalism, social norms and mental health.

【About Niji no Sato】

Shuzenji Niji-no-Sato is a theme park located in Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

The park is situated on a ridge about 1.5 km from the center of Shuzenji Onsen, one of the main hot spring resorts on the Izu Peninsula. Within the park, there are themed areas and gardens, such as the British Village and the Canadian Village.

A mini railway runs between these two villages, and the park is known for its numerous gardens and flower beds, allowing visitors to enjoy seasonal flowers throughout the year.

The park covers an area of 500,000 square meters, which is almost the same size as Tokyo Disneyland.
