◾️ David Angu (from India)◾️

David Angu & The Tribe, a rock band from Arunachal Pradesh, fuses rock music with indigenous dialects like Nyishi and Adi. Led by guitarist and singer David Angu from Aalo, the band blends contemporary sounds with traditional tunes, inspired by David's love for rock and his grandmother's folk songs.

Their performances feature traditional instruments like the Duitara, promoting Arunachal Pradesh's cultural heritage. Known for their experimental style, they’ve performed at major festivals such as the Northeast Festival in Bangkok and the Ziro Festival of Music. David Angu & The Tribe aim to preserve and popularize the region's oral traditions, making folk music accessible to the youth.
