AMEIRO Festival: Terms and Conditions for musicians

In these terms, "AMEIRO Festival" refers to the event organized by More Than Music at "Niji no Sato," Shuzenji, Japan. "We," "us," or "our" refer to the festival organizers, and "you" or "your" refer to musicians.

General

Purchase and Attendance: Purchase of tickets for AMEIRO Festival constitutes acceptance of these terms. Entry to the festival signifies adherence to these terms and conditions.

Admission

Entry Policy: We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove individuals from the festival for reasons including but not limited to: age restrictions, lack of valid ticket, intoxication, inappropriate behavior, breach of site rules, or posing a safety risk.

Access Requirements: Attendees with disability access requirements should contact the organizers in advance for accommodations. While efforts will be made to facilitate access, some facilities may not be fully accessible due to the nature of the venue.

Wristbands: Upon arrival, all musicians must register themselves at the entrance and receive their artist wristbands, which must be worn throughout the event. Failure to wear a wristband may result in denied entry or expulsion from the festival grounds.

Age Restrictions: Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or nominated adult. Proof of age may be requested upon entry.

Site Rules

Respect and Responsibility: Attendees must respect the festival site and adhere to site rules. This includes proper use of bins, prohibition of fires, reporting of safety hazards, and compliance with instructions from festival staff.

Prohibited Items: The following items are prohibited on the festival site: professional recording equipment, laser pens, illegal drugs, glass containers, glass bottles, fireworks, air horns, personal generators, and other items deemed hazardous or disruptive.

Smoking Policy: Smoking, including e-cigarettes, in enclosed spaces and designated no-smoking areas such as the main stage, forest stage, and art and activity section. Smokers are encouraged to use personal ashtrays and exercise discretion in less crowded areas. Non-compliance may result in expulsion or legal consequences. 

Waste Management: At AMEIRO Festival, we prioritize environmental sustainability through responsible waste management practices. All attendees are required to dispose of their waste in the provided bins located throughout the festival grounds. Please ensure that garbage is deposited in the appropriate bins to maintain cleanliness and uphold our commitment to sustainability.

Glass and Cans Disposal: To further our efforts in waste reduction, glass bottles or cans from outside alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited within the festival premises. Attendees are kindly requested to take such items home for proper recycling or disposal. AMEIRO Festival does not accept glass bottles or cans brought from external sources.

Waste Separation Standards: We enforce stringent waste separation standards to minimize environmental impact. Please adhere to these guidelines by segregating waste materials and disposing of them in the designated recycling, composting, or general waste bins provided. Your cooperation in maintaining waste separation protocols is crucial to our collective sustainability efforts.

Ticket Rules

Ticket Usage: Tickets are non-refundable and must not be resold without explicit permission. Duplicate tickets will not be issued, and lost tickets will not be replaced.

Cancellation Policy: In the event of festival cancellation, ticket holders will be notified, and efforts will be made to reschedule. Refunds will be provided for cancelled events, excluding instances of force majeure.

Legal Matters

Line-Up and Content: While efforts will be made to adhere to advertised line-ups and schedules, changes may occur without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances.

Amplified Sound and Lighting: Attendees are advised of the use of amplified sound and strobe lighting at the festival and should take necessary precautions.

Photography and Videography: By attending the festival, you agree and permit us to use the captured media for promotional and archival purposes, including advertising, marketing, and social media, both during and after the event. While attendees can opt out of being photographed or recorded, complete avoidance may not always be possible. We handle any collected personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and relevant laws, ensuring a balance between capturing moments and respecting privacy preferences.

Indemnity and Liability

Waiver of Liability: Attendees assume all risks associated with attendance, including injury or loss. AMEIRO Festival and its affiliates are not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses incurred during the event.

Indemnification: Attendees agree to indemnify and hold harmless AMEIRO Festival and its affiliates from any claims arising from their actions or omissions at the festival.

Communication

Communication Channels: Official communication between organizers and attendees will primarily occur through the LINE app, including group chats and direct messages to staff members. Force Majeure

Event Cancellation: In cases of force majeure leading to event cancellation, refunds may be issued at the discretion of the organizers, taking into account the nature and extent of the cancellation. By purchasing tickets and attending AMEIRO Festival, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
