MTM Sunday dinners

Sundays are for winding down after a hectic week and an even more hectic weekend. So at MTM Sunday dinners we do just that surrounded by amazing people, fantastic food and the music to match that atmosphere of a family Sunday dinner. You are welcomed to enjoy that much needed time to wind down together with us.

Home made food from your home country

We make the dishes we put in front of you with love and care just like your family back home would. For a lot of expats living away from your family is hardest at dinner time. Endless conversations over the traditional food of your hometown versus a bento from the local combini. This is the feeling we try to capture at MTM Sunday dinners, a family away from home that comes together to eat a meal and spend good times together.

Acoustic music

We wouldn’t be More than Music if we didn't involve music. We try to pair the food of the night with an accoustic musician that fits the atmosphere and theme of the night because music as well as food brings people together. In other words we unite the many cultures in the expat community through food and music. We have previously had dishes from the Philippines, Belgium, Mexico and traditional American thanksgiving and christmas dinners. Many more will be added to that list with the right musicians to match these culinary cultures to create a wonderful and cozy night. For example, listening to Reese Lansangan live, while munching on Loempias is a fantastic experience.

Cozy location

The venue we usually go to is a small and cozy art cafe right at the base of Tokyo Skytree in Oshiage. This place is a good location to come together as a community, we serve drinks that tie in to the theme of the event and overall this cute little cafe is a great place where we can share our cultures through food and music with expats and Japanese people alike.
