MTM Pick up Events

Here at More Than Music we have had events all over Tokyo and several of the venues we work with have asked us to support their events and bring along the More Than Music atmosphere to their events. Of course More Than Music event pass holders get free access to these events!
Pick up events are events that are not directly organized by More than Music but rather shows we think are exciting and want to share with our audience. We have several legendary indie venues whose events we frequently pick up.

KAGURANE

In the middle of Kagurazaka, amidst French style bakeries, stylish shop windows and the cobbled road that runs between them lies hidden in a basement, Kagurane. It is made up of a sleek bar that is separated from the stage area in the next room, boasting one of the most premium sound equipment systems in Tokyo. The owner, a sound engineer himself, made Kagurane with the best possible sound in mind.
The overall feel of the place is modern and sleek. It is a versatile venue but it is primarily used for electronic events such as More Than Music’s own series ‘Electroman’ our bimonthly Electro series!

A four-piece band formed in Zushi City, Kanagawa Prefecture and based in Tokyo. An instrumental band that plays comfortable dance music inspired by beachside scenes. With a tribal rhythm section rooted in Latin music, the sound blends the textures of club music such as techno and house with the dynamism of rock music. Independent planning of clubs, live houses, outdoor festivals, film screenings and live performances in local Zushi. Live activities are developed in various situations until the event. In 2019, released the 1st album "Be Built, Then Lost" from P-VINE RECORDS. After guest performances with Eminata, Maika Loubté, and Maco Marets, in 2022, under the production of Saito “JxJx” Jun (YOUR SONG IS GOOD), the single “Vibrant Sun” that symbolizes the current system will be released. With "Our Local Balearic Music" as the keyword, they continue to explore their own unique dance groove while following the transition of various sounds.
