About This Event

Music is one of those simple pleasures that can bring joy to you just as the light may when you step on the sunny side of the road

Join us on June 22nd as we combine the upbeat and danceable tunes of K-106 visiting us from Osaka, and Chun. a team of Tokyo's whose who sessionists putting out their own new music with the jazzy and positive styled psychedelic rock of Japan's Indus&Rock.

Artist information

◾Indus&Rocks◾️

gt.vo. 黒澤次郎 (Jiro Kurosawa) / dr. 岩野真央 (Mao Iwano) / ba. 太田敏明 (Toshiaki Ota)

In the early stages of their formation, they went by the name "INDUSTBOX" and their sound was characterized by sentimental and emotional guitar rock. However, influenced by the Japanese Jam scene and various other factors, they underwent a transformation and eventually rebranded themselves as "Indus&Rocks" around 2005. As a team of cosmic mystery-solving explorers, they travel far and wide, drawing inspiration from their experiences to create catchy and trippy music. With their unique blend of experimentation, challenge, and exploration, this trio continues to push boundaries and create captivating music.

K-106◾️

Formed in 1999, this dynamic seven-piece instrumental funk band has been making waves across the Kansai region with their energetic performances. Featuring a distinctive front line of alto sax, tenor sax, and trombone, their sound is uniquely captivating. Free from the constraints of lyrics, their music offers an expansive, boundary-free world that is both liberating and immersive.

Balancing the strengths of their flexibility with the challenges of instrumental expression, the band has steadily grown through their own live events, notably their self-hosted "K no Rutsubo." They believe the pinnacle of artistic expression lies in live performance, and they rigorously maintain their identity as a live band, crafting the unique "K-106" experience that defies easy categorization.

In December 2019, to mark their 20th anniversary, they released two CD albums and hosted a special celebration event, "Dai Rutsubo," at Misono Universe. Their journey reflects a relentless commitment to growth and live artistry, continually evolving while staying true to their roots.
